Penny Husky Young Female in Lyman, Vermont

My story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions.

Playful Penny is here to say hello! This sprightly girl is an 18-month-old Border Collie/Husky mix (best guess) who weighs 32 lbs.  Her gorgeous blue eyes will melt your heart as she looks up at you as if to say, what are we going to do today? Penny relishes in going for walks, riding in cars, romping around with another dog in the backyard or just being close to her person.  Penny is a clever girl in she quickly learned how to use the doggie door in her foster home and is houstrained. She will also sit patiently to take treats along with the other dogs in her foster home.  Penny also likes to give her paw and catch treats when you toss them! She is very treat-motivated and adores attention so a home that will continue obedience training, we believe, she will thrive in.  Penny is crate trained but prefers to be in the crate with the door open.  Penny requests a home with a securely fenced-in yard for her to frolic and gallop around in.  We also believe she would do best with someone who works from home or is home more often than not as she's a very social girl and flourishes around her people.  If you have an active family who is working from home and looking for a devoted companion, contact us about Penny today!

All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
